We decided to visit the Art PRize on the coldest Saturday yet....the kids were troopers and mom, Natasia and I were all set with our Pumpkin Mochas....It was a BLAST!

Catch up...

WOW I am SO far behind...sorry! I thought with summer vacation would come tons of time to update my blog.... NOT SO MUCH :) So we have had a really busy last couple of months, we moved in the end of May, and haven't stopped moving since then...All the boxes are unpacked, decorations on the wall, and we are fully adjusted to the new house! We love it! The wildlife is great, and it feels like a piece of heaven everytime we come home (and I don't mind being SO close to mom and dad's pool in this HOT weather!) Jaxon has grown leaps and bounds from the last time I posted, he is sitting up very well, and eating great! He is SO much fun and we LOVE watching his new tricks everyday.... Look how big I am! Sitting up on the couch...

Jax loves this, I put an apple, banana, watermelon etc in here and he goes to town on it...

SLACKER!!!

Ummm....i think i totally won the "mother of the year" award.... HA HA!!! I'm SO sorry I've been slacking...wow! April and May have been BUSY months!!!! So....here um 3 1/2 weeks late is Jax's 4 month update....oh yea i know he's going to be 5 month on Saturday....ooooopppppsssss! Maybe this one will be able to be on time :) Don't hold your breath though, we are moving this weekend....HIP HIP HOORAY!!!

4 month stats...

-Sleep... He is sleeping REALLY good! He gets breast milk all day except his last bottle, that one is formula...this seems to help him sleep good, if I breast feed him then he seems to wake up at 2:30 and want to eat... We put him down anywhere from 6:30-7:30 and he sleep all night until about 5:30-6:30.... then I feed him and he goes back to bed for another hour or two :) HAPPY MOMMY!!!!!

-Food.... he is eating really well....loves his bottles, and gets one every three hours....he is eating 5 ounces every 3 hours....ummm baby food is TOTALLY another story.... I got the okay from his great pediatrician to start him on baby food...apparently he didn't get the memo that he is supposed to LIKE baby food...I think he thought I was trying to choke him or something...it is pretty hilarious ( all on video :) but oh well, we'll keep trying :)

- Weight....uhhhh lets just say my child is HUGE! Seriously...didn't know babies could get rashes from their fat rolls...oh yea they can :) he weighed in at 14 pounds 1 ounce at 4 months...that would be more than 2 times his birth weight!!!!

-Length.... he is doing good lengthwise, not super long but also not short (hopefully he doesn't have my short jeans :)... he measured in at 24 and 3/4 inches, which is 5 inches longer than birth!

Overall, Jax is SUCH a happy baby! He loves to lay on his back and move around.... Nana is a little concerned because he has not rolled, and really shows absolutely NO initiative to do so :) but oh well I'm sure he'll roll before Kindergarten :) We love seeing his personality come out each day, he LOVES to giggle and laugh! Easter Bunny

So Sarah and I had a playdate at the mall....well we saw the Easter Bunny and thought it would be a great idea to get pictures :) we started with Jax... Kylie, being the oldest, was scared. We had the great idea of putting Jax first hoping Kylie and Brynn would follow.... well it worke or about 10 seconds This is the best picture, Jax hasn't realized I put him in the arms of a giant fuzzy bunny...

3 months!!!

Jax's eyes are SO expressive! I love to make silly noises to him and see his eyes get really big! Its great to see his personality developing!

WOW! I can't believe that 3 months ago I was sitting in the recovery room amazed at the miracle God had given Ian and I....here we are 3 months later so incredibly in love and thankful for the amazing child God has blessed us with! Jax is SUCH a wonderful little guy! He is gaining greatly...is coming close to doubling his birth weight! He is pushing 12 pounds! He is sleeping REALLY good, between 8-10 hours a night STRAIGHT through!! This is such a blessing from God! We love him more and more each day and can't wait to spend every day God gives us with him!

So here they are...a little later than planned....OOPS! Thats what happens when I go back to work! Here are some pictures from bathtime with daddy :).... by the way he's been sleeping like 6-8 hours every night!! EEEKKKK! That has been such a blessing for us!!! 2 months!!!

I know I am SO way late in posting this, especially since I will be posting the 3 month one in like 13 days!!! WOW I can't believe that my little one is two months old already! He is growing like a weed! We had his 2 month old appointment, and he has almost DOUBLED in size since birth!!! He was 6 pounds 3 ounces when we left the hospital, and at his check up he was 10 pounds 14 ounces!!! WOW He is also 23 inches long, 4 inches longer than birth! The doctor said he is doing really well, he has great control of his head. He loves to pick it up and look around...he's so nosy (totally gets that from daddy ;) ) He got 3 shots, which was pure torture for me! But he did really good!

So his sleeping patterns vary each day... but he consistantly sleeps at least 5 hours the first stretch....He had his first night away from mommy and daddy...for Valentines Day I took Ian out for dinner just the two of us...my mom and dad had Jax over night...and he slept...get this 9 HOURS!!!! WHAT? He has YET to do that for us!!!!

Other than that, things are going well, I went back to work...it has been very difficult, but we arae settling in and getting into a routine. Jax does great wherever he is, and it is harder on me than on him :) It has been wonderful getting back into the swing of things at school! I really missed my kids...

Valentine's Day....

So every year, my mom has a valentines day party...This year we were ALL home and my cousin from Washington was there also! So much fun! The kids get presents, and so do we :) It is a great way to celebrate the holiday of love :) Kayla opening her present....

He is baptized!!!

Jax was baptized last Sunday. Almost all of our family made it, which was wonderful! He did SUCH a great job! He never even made a peep, even when our pastor put the water one him! Afterwards we had our friends and family join us for cake and ice cream. My mom got a cake of Jax in his baptism gown :) The very proud parents!

Baptism....

Jaxon's baptism is on Sunday, and I have been searching all over for a baptismal gown that isn't girlie but that isn't a suit....well I told my mother and low and behold she found the perfect one! I should have told her sooner....mothers are great like that! She brought it over this morning and I tried it on him...it is PERFECT! He didn't even mind the dress up session :)

The booties are crocheted and are BEAUTIFUL! They are a little hard to see but I had to try :)

Baby Shower....

My sweet first graders decided to throw me a baby shower....Jax and I went in and had a ton of fun with the kids, especially watching them drink from a bottle for the game :) Getting ready to open our gift... Jaxon looks SO into it :)
